2024年11月18日，瑞士科技文化中心（中国）首席执行官兼领事Philipe Roesle及瑞士联邦政府外交部数字化部部长Benedikt Wechsler、瑞士联邦政府通信办公室国际事务处处长Thomas Schneider访问上海科技大学，旨在了解我校在人工智能领域的科研情况，增进相互的知识交流。
国际事务处陪同瑞士代表团参观了创艺学院的智造系统工程中心、信息学院的智能感知与人机协同教育部重点实验室和多学科人工现实实验室。各实验室的负责人为来访的客人做了精彩的演示，瑞士客人对我校在人工智能方面的科研成果印象深刻，在实验室还饶有兴趣地与人形机器人互动。
参观之后，国际事务处介绍了学校的整体情况，并表达了愿与瑞士科技文化中心继续加深合作的想法。瑞士代表团高度认同我校小规模、高水平、国际化的办学理念，并表达了愿对中瑞高校之间进一步交流与合作提供支持。
Head of Swissnex in China and Swiss Federal Government Officials visit ShanghhaiTech
On November 18, 2024, Philipe Roesle, Consul & CEO of Swissnex in China, along with Benedikt Wechsler, Head of the Division for Digitalisation at the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs, and Thomas Schneider, Director of International Affairs at the Swiss Federal Office of Communications, visited ShanghaiTech University. The purpose of their visit was to gain preliminary insights into the university’s research in the field of artificial intelligence and to foster knowledge exchange.
The Swiss delegates visited Center for Adaptive System Engineering at the School of Creativity and Art, MoE Key Lab of Intelligent Perception and Human-Machine Collaboration and Multi-disciplinary Artificial Reality Studio at the School of Information Science and Technology. Each lab leader provided impressive demonstration, and the Swiss guests interacted with robots with great interest.
Following the lab visits, Office of International Affairs gave an overview of ShanghaiTech. The Swiss visitors expressed admiration for ShanghaiTech’s vision to be a small-scale, high-level, and international university and emphasized their willingness in the continued support for further exchanges and cooperation between Chinese and Swiss universities.
