哥大全球中心携手哥大气候学院诚邀各位同学参加哥大气候学院硕士项目宣讲会。气候学院联合资深教育主任丁敏芳教授将亲临现场，详细介绍学院的学科优势、创新实践和全球影响力。
参与本场宣讲会，同学们将了解该项目的课程安排、申请要求、奖学金计划、学生背景、校友网络等一手信息，并有充裕的时间与招生官进行实时答疑。
宣讲会还开通了线上参与渠道，同学们可以选择线上参会。
This hybrid session, organized by Columbia Climate School in collaboration with the Columbia Global Center Beijing, will be hosted by Dr. Mingfang Ting, Professor of Climate and Co-Senior Director for Education at Columbia Climate School.
The event will include a presentation on the MA in Climate & Society curriculum, learning community, admissions process, and financial aid offerings. The information session will also include a Q&A. Please review the website in advance and come with questions.

气候与社会密不可分，跨学科的方法对研究气候变化的原因和影响功不可没，也有助于协助全社会做好应对气候危机的准备。
哥大气候学院气候与社会硕士项目（MA in Climate and Society）荟萃了哥大教员在地球科学、气候动力学、统计学和解决现实世界问题方面的专业知识。参与该项目，学生还可以选修法律、国际关系、工程和其他学科的课程，根据自己的兴趣定制跨学科学习内容。
气候与社会硕士项目得益于哥大气候学院与哥大文理研究生院的合作，还受益于哥大地球与环境科学系、地球研究所和国际气候与社会研究所的丰富资源及合作伙伴关系。
该项目的学生背景非常多元。学生不仅向导师学习，而且互相学习。毕业之后，他们会通过校友网络继续协作，通过不同的途径参与应对气候危机，从事城市规划、政策顾问、记者、环保主义者等职业。期待您的加入，成为气候变化带来的系列问题的“答案”。
Columbia University, the Earth Institute and the Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory are at the forefront of climate research and applications. Climate and Society sits at this nexus and takes an interdisciplinary approach to the causes and impacts of the climate crisis as well as how to prepare society.
The MA in Climate and Society program draws on faculty members' expertise in earth sciences, climate dynamics, statistics and real-world problem-solving. Students are further able to take courses in law, international relations, engineering and other disciplines to tailor the program to their interests.
The MA in Climate and Society is offered by the Columbia Climate School in partnership with the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences. It also benefits from partnerships with the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences, the Earth Institute and the International Research Institute for Climate and Society.
Students come from a variety of backgrounds. Our diversity is our strength. Addressing the climate crisis will require a wide range of skills and interests. Our students learn not just from faculty but from each other. They work together as alumni, approaching the climate crisis from many different avenues.
