The Ministry of Science and Technology (MoST) has released a Notice on the 2023 Guides for the 1st Batch of 2 sub-programs of the MoST Key Research Plan Program: the Guide for Intergovernmental Cooperation on International S&T Innovation Program, as well as the Guide for Cooperation on Strategic S&T Innovation Program. For those who are willing to apply for the programs, please prepare files and/or documents according to the Notice and the Guide(s).
Specific attention should be given to two parts in the Notice:
a) In paragraph 3, Clause 4 of Part III, the requisition on total program budget has changed (￥4 million this year vs. ￥2 million in previous years);
b) Clause 8 of Part III, regarding reviews (including ethical review), intellectual property rights, as well as transformation of results.
In order to facilitate the process of application, the 2022 application template(s) may be took as a reference and should be filled in, then to be submited online after all review procedures are completed.
This application is divided into two parts: the non-topic 1.4 programs of the Guide and the topic 1.4 programs of the Guide. The specific timelines are as follows:
*For non-topic 1.4 programs
1. Before 16:00, Dec. 22, 2022, Research Managers send the draft of each application form to Ms. SHI Juan at the Office of Finance and Dr. DAI Yulong for further verification after the review of the school/institute/center the applicants affiliated to
2. Before 16:00, Dec. 29, 2022, applicants modify and submit their applications in the system
*For topic 1.4 programs
1. Before 16:00, Apr. 11, 2023, Research Managers send the draft of each application form to Ms. SHI Juan at the Office of Finance and Dr. DAI Yulong for further verification after the review of the review of the school/institute/center the applicants affiliated to
